The roster has been sent to NHRA with a total of 46 drivers--almost a full team. If you need a room for the Bracket Finals try the Days Inns in Ennis (972) 875-6990: $59.95 for a double!

Bracket Finals THIS WEEKEND! Team Edinburg is made up of 19 Rio Grande Valley drivers and 25 Out-of-Town drivers; I wish we had more Valley racers step up.
Someone should make the finals from Team Edinburg as Lee Bannister made the finals in Sportsman last year and Ryan McDonnell won Modified two years ago.

Well, I said someone from Team Edinburg should make the finals and Albert Rodriguez proved me right.
A big congratulations to your 2009 Race of Champions Electronics Winner: Albert Rodriguez of Edinburg, Texas. Albert beat the other Track Champions from across the South Central Region of the US.
He got past Dallas-Fort Worth racer Rick Huffman, then beat Oklahoma City driver David Pierce, followed by Memphis racer Kerry Caples, and finally Louisiana driver Justin Allbrittion.
